But those are very often the most important steps of all.
Almostthere is an organisation born out of the passion and expertise of 8 partners from different European countries who have chosen to focus on those last, all-important steps.
And if possible, to add a few more, to go even further.
The physical aspects of sport should never be our only focus. Sport should be mens sana in corpore sano, a sound mind in a healthy body. It can teach us many values, including well-being, discipline, integrity, perseverance, courage, values that can also be applied to our daily lives.
We have chosen to include many different sports in the almostthere project as one of our key aims is to broaden perspectives, to encourage everyone who takes part in sport – from beginners right through to experienced athletes – to benefit from everything that sport can teach, by expanding and enhancing their approach and attitude towards all sports.

Insane passion for architecture and aesthetics in general. I play tennis and am mad about bicycles. And motorbikes. Ok, and also women. That’s pretty commonplace. Can’t say no to any sport. I also adore books, and now and again I read them as well as own them.

I don’t like to talk about myself, I prefer to let others do that for me. I lived on bread and athletics from the age of 7 to 25, with the Italian national shirt and a few seasons as a professional in cross country and middle-distance.
